Piper
English Specialist, Writing Coach, & College ConsultantPiper has over 10 years of experience as educator. She’s worked in K-12 schools, universities, educational non-profits, and as a private tutor. She specializes in English and Writing instruction, from early literacy to graduate-level coursework. As a college consultant, she has supported students’ admission to tens of colleges, from UC Berkeley to University of Pennsylvania.
Piper graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California, where she double majored in English and NGO Management. She also received a Master of Science in Education, with a specialization in Reading/Writing/Literacy, from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. In 2022, she spoke at the preeminent academic conference on College Composition, CCCC, about developing literacy practices in virtual environments.
Piper believes in working closely with students and their families to determine how to best support their development and growth.
Christina
English Specialist & Writing CoachChristina specializes in English and Writing instruction.
She has worked in education for 8 years, getting her start in the Early Education non-profit, Jumpstart, which prepares students to enter Kindergarten. She has worked as a tutor and mentor for USC students, and helped create educational resources for the start-up Valence, which focuses on connecting Black professionals with mentorship, career opportunities, and executive development.
Christina graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California in English Language and Creative Writing, with a minor in Sports Marketing. She has also worked as a Contributing Writer to journalism publications and papers, such as EBONY magazine.
